On April 1st we followed a recipe to make Easter Cookies. We were able to identify all the features of a recipe and even bake some tasty treats.
This term, Beech Class have enjoy learning all about prehistoric art.
They have experimented with a range of materials and mixed medias to explore different ways of mixing and making natural pigments. Look at some of their finished pieces of art work based upon animals and handprints.

Beech Class have made bread to help them to retell the story of Jesus Feeds the 5000.
In design technology, Beech Class have been experimenting which 3D shape is the most stable and strong structure.
Today, we celebrated Fairy Tale Day and took part in drama workshops to create exciting characters and stories.

In R.E. the children have been learning about the holy book the Bible. In this lesson, the children ordered extracts from the Bible into a story mountain of events.
In art we are learning about sculptures. Today we explored turning 2D shapes in 3D!
Today, Beech Class looked around the local area by following a map and observing the human and physical features of Ellwood.
Today, we learnt about the story of Rama and Sita and celebrated Diwali by creating our very own lanterns. This took a lot of patience and resilience.
