Forest Fun Day
It was lovely to see some of the children back in for our last day of Year 5. We had great fun building dens and having a picnic in the forest. Hope you all have a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you back in school in September.
Year 5 Healthy Living week
This week we have been thinking about how to keep our bodies healthy and active. We held our bubble Sports Day in the sunshine, congratulations to all of you for taking part.
We also had great fun, baking healthy muffins and planning and preparing a healthy lunch. Who knew that wholemeal, healthy dishes could be so tasty!
Learning in Isolation
Whilst we were in isolation, year 5 had a number of tasks and challenges set on our learning platform Calibrae. It was lovely to be able to respond to their work and to see photographs of some of the final pieces.
Pumpkin carving competition
Well done to all of those that took part in the pumpkin carving competition. Congratulations to Bella for her winning design.
Year 5 bikeability
Year 5 had a great time learning about road safety and were all awarded their level 2 certificates - well done year 5!
Science investigations
This term we have been learning about forces and the children had fun designing and testing their own parachutes to see the effects of air resistance.
Archery Taster Day
Year 5 had great fun learning some new skills during their archery taster session.
