Useful Information

Forest Adventures Uniform  - Sept 2023 - Children should wear blue jogging bottoms/leggings, a blue long sleeve top to protect their arms and their school jumper plus a coat in colder weather.

School Uniform

At Ellwood School, we expect all children to wear school uniform unless there is an exceptional circumstance (eg medical, SEMH need, protective characteristic, religious beliefs).

We believe that wearing school uniform can play a key role in:

  • promoting the ethos of a school
  • providing a sense of belonging and identity
  • setting an appropriate tone for education

We have thought very carefully about our uniform and have considered: comfort, practicalities, weather appropriate, cost and safety.

The cost of the uniform ranges from £3-£8 for uniform without a logo, which can purchased online, in supermarkets and high street shops and £5-£15 for items with a logo from Brigade Uniform - https://www.brigade.uk.com/parents/school/EL6236PD/

We also have free good quality second hand uniform available for parents if they need to access this. We strive to make uniform accessible for all children.
